Subject:
Taking tools on an aeroplane
Dear all - this is a subject that was touched on here
a couple of years ago, I just wondered if anything had
changed? Presumably the options are:
? ship tools ahead;
? pack well and bury them in a suitcase to go in the
hold;
? pack in a special case to go in the hold,
and either take out insurance or risk loosing the lot.
Is it worth contacting the airline company to tell
them there will be tools in the luggage?
I'm asking because I'm going from the UK to Italy at
the end of the month.
Cheers
Deb
