Attaching an upright headstone to a base
I am carving my first headstone. It is actually for
my wife's father. She wants it done in marble sitting
on a marble horizontal base. My question is, what is
the best method of securing the upright member to the
base? The upright will be approximately 30 inches
wide by 20 inches high and probably 4 to 6 inches
deep.
My other question is, is a base necessary?
