cutting slate - corrugated iron
Thanks everybody for your input on cutting slate (if that's what I've got
here). Might have to check out getting others to do it. It's not like I have
full walls of this stuff to do, but scraps left after others have had their
way with it first!
Ian, I'm curious about this corrugated iron you describe. Is that natural
stone or manufactured? and does it seem to have a high carbon content like I
describe? If this does prove to be carvable, I wonder about outdoor
durability... iron would rust, right?
