Will and Oscar, just what did you get up to at the sculpture expo?
End of quote.

It was the Ottawa Sculptors' Network's annual exhibition. A lack of exhibit
space in the city brought us to hold it at the cop shop. We rec'd excellent
media coverage because of that: ie "sculptors show at police station."
However, it's true, people dealing with the police are not often amenable to
buying art at the same time - I mean, it's the waiting room for people who
need to see the officer in charge!!
So we haven't been back. We've managed to find gallary space each year.
I was into my madonna-and-child phase, so my piece was a miniature abstract,
"Green Mother" in marble, barely 5" tall.
On my prose side, I am still working on a mystery story at a cop shop, that
is solved by a sculptor.
Cheers, Oscar
