hi patrick (and daed if you're reading this),

maybe i missed some of the email you wrote patrick, but i understood
(possibly incorrectly) right from the start almost, that we were all
having fun with the word "masonary" - we have played with words here
before on this list (bill knight is a maestro at it, right bill?), so
it's sad to see such a small matter, turn into bad blood - i take this
to be a small misunderstanding & personally think it's because we can't
get a "real sense" for what one might mean in an electronic form - i've
seen this happen elsewhere on public lists and hope we can all keep an
open mind when interpreting what is electronically written ...

like you patrick, i so enjoy reading all the stuff written about on
this stone list (even when it's not in my field, like detailed
"masonary" talk), or way over my head - to me, it's always food for
thought and an invaluable learning opprtunity, and when we're lucky,
often humorous ...

so it's ok patrick, i for one took no offense (in fact enjoyed it all),
and certainly hope that daed will see your writings for what they are -
helpful and definitely not malicious ...
