I wonder if a more mundane way to learn how to deal with big stone might be
to go to an art school that knows about stone carving or a masonry college?
Just a thought. A supplementary thought - maybe a bit of time with a
builder or fabricator, learning how to shift large objects around and secure
them for working on might help? I'm speaking from ignorance - so maybe the
rest of the group can help :-)
