Thank you
I'd like to thank those of you who replied to my previous questions. I will
be researching several of the options you gave me. Since a lot of the
sculpting possibilities are out of my country, I will hold off applying to
international events and jobs until I get my passport sorted out (6-8
weeks).
In the meantime, I am headed to Vancouver Island to attend the West Coast
Sculpture Association's Thetis Island stone carving Symposium Sept 13-18. On
my way there I will be exploring the art and sculpture of the Canadian west
coast. Do you have any suggestions of places on the island where I HAVE to
visit?
I have been a lurker here on Stone Conersations for a few years,
occasionally emailing those people who I could help with soft stone carving
questions. I have learned a lot through the conversations here, and have
explored your websites and links. I value the service and community you have
fostered here and hope to contribute more than I have in the past.
