Small Monuments
hi everybody,
Yesterday, John Klassen from Canada and myself from Germany attended the opening of the Small Monuments show in Holland.
The website for the gallery is http://galerie-donkersvoort.kunstinzicht.nl
This is a really excellent show with a wide variety of stonecarving techniques, stone and style.
Jan Van de Pol and Nellke Van de Oever have worked very hard on the presentation and promotion of this travelling exhibit.
Jan is a Belgian stone carver living in Holland and Nelleke is the Gallery owner as well as a painter.
The next locations for the show are as follows:
Galerie Exelmans in Belgium
Galerie Petra Jager in Hamburg, Germany
Gallery and Museum Loveland, Colorado, USA
Gallery Lawrence, Portland, USA
Sun Gallery, Seoul, Korea
Broomhill Art Gallery, Barnstaple, England
Hopefully these shows will be as good as the one in Holland.
Previous to the show John stayed at my home and was marinating in the art scene of Germany.
After this, John continues on to Switzerland and Pietrasanta, Italy.
Warm regards to all of you
Horst (& John)
