Introducing myself: Michiel Deylius
Dear members,
My name is Michiel Deylius from Utrecht, The Netherlands. After working for 18 years in the computer industry, I changed my life into that of a (starting) sculpturer. I make small sculptures concerning bearth and I am becoming a lettercarver. Carving letters is a passion of mine and I spend more and more time carving, in order to train myself, to learn (and earn some money on funeral subjects). Carving techniques have been tought to me in private lessons by a very experienced instructor at the local (and in the Netherlands the ONLY) education for stonemasons. I have subscribed to this list in order to participate in discussions, to learn from others, to share my (humble) experience and also to meet people with similar specialties. I invite anyone to visit my website, in order to see what I mean with the above introduction: www.deylius.nl
With kind regards,
Michiel Deylius
