Quarries in Belgium
I like to visit the Ardennes (Belgium) in order to look in abandoned quarries for suitable blocks of limestone ('petit granite') of black marble ('marbre noir') or any other belgian stone that is suitable for sculpturing. I already searched the internet and found some sites where belgian marble can be found, but these are quarries that are actually exploited. Can anyone help me to names or adresses of abandoned quarries?
