Create cloth effect on surface of stone, with natural looking folds & wrinkles?
When working on marble, esp' hard marble, the tool that I have found most handy is the oldest form of shaping stone. I took the blocks of the bottom of a marble floor grinding machine (diff grits) and shaped them to suit the profile of the stone I'm working on with an angle grinder and small diamond blade. Then use Wet and Dry paper by hand. The shaping stones get me down to a good surface to sand. ie no large marks to remove. Rockhound
