GA Marble?
GA marble is very hard and brittle, with a very large crystal size,
so it doesn't lend itself to fine undercutting or small details. You
need to treat it more like granite than marble.
Is Alabama marble brittle like GA marble? I have a block that I hope to
start carving in a few months.
