GA Marble?

I haven't carved Alabama marble, but the blocks I've seen were very
different from the GA marble, with a finer grain. The blocks I saw
were "cotto" (old, sugary), but that could just have been from
spending too much time up North with our freeze-thaw cycles.
I think I have a sample around here somewhere, I'll have to see if I
can find it.
