GA Marble?
Is it Sylacauga? I've been to the recently reopened
quarry there and was very impressed with the marble,
though have not carved it other than to sample its
hardness and strength. Lovely lovely stuff. They have a
nearly pure bone white they call a crema. The quarry is
now owned by Sicilians I believe.
