Hi.

I am the product manager for GA Marble and Colorado Stone (Yule). I've been
reading your comments and want to share with you that the Colorado Yule is
much easier to carve in details than GA marble. You can check out Francisco
Sotomayor's website and the American Woman he created (eyelashes and free
standing rose stem) http://www.franciscosfineart.com/

Be aware that a lot of bad material from Colorado has been sold on the
market in the past. These were rejects from the quarry that were not only
full of microfractures, but had been exposed to the freeze-thaw cycle for
more than 50 years, making it very sugary. If you buy Colorado Yule, check
with us if it was sold by the quarry or by someone else. There is a ton of
rejects around the quarry and they usually are rejects for good reasons. We
have many quarry blocks available online and smaller pieces are available
through the major distributors in the USA. Visit our website for more
