Subject: [stone] dry wall stone sources in North East USA
Quoted text begins.Hi,
I've built a few dry stone walls and I enjoy it very much but I've grown
tired of the "run of the mill" stone from my local garden center. It
all seems so plain and "manufactured" if you know what I mean. Anyway,
I'm writing to this list in hopes of finding quarries and dealers of
stones for dry wall construction. Thanks in advance.
Bob
End of quote.
I think just about any area you live in the NE USA should be within
reasonable driving distance to a real Stoneyard, which will offer many more
options than the ever so common PA fieldstone pallets that all the "Garden
Centers" stock.
