Alabama Marble?
I'm certainly no carver, but have bought & sold, cut & polished lots of
white marble flat stock over the years. I also sell a boatload of building
stone.
I have to wonder whats wrong this stone being offered @ $25 / ton. I pay a
lot more than that for a local (Baltimore) crushed white marble gravel. The
only big chunks of stone I see at a price that low are blasted marble chunks
from the Genstar plant in Medford, MD.
Sure sounds like a heck of a deal to me!
