Hammer for pitching
Again, thank you Daed and George for your responses. I think you have both
convinced me to just go back to my diamond blade (cutting fins and knocking
them off). As you said George, the guy in the T&H video just made it look
so easy. I thought it would be worth a try. The idea of knocking chunks of
stone off with so little effort and no dust was appealing. But nothing is
worth the risk of possibly driving a crack into the stone. My 7" diamond
blade will work fast enough.
Hopefully I can find other opportunities in the future to learn the pitching
skill. It is such a great fortune to be able to tap into the experience of
those in this list.
