Inexpensive Air Compressors
Minimum is 11.2 cfm with a 60 gallon tank, anything less and you will be
very disapointed, also do not get a direct drive, you need the higher cfm to
run an angle grinder. I am on my second compressor, just bought one three
weeks ago. I bought an inexpensive made in China type, $599 Canadian 11.2
cfm 60 gallon tank, I can run die grinders, 8" angle grinder etc. This type
of compressor can give you about 3,000 hours of use before you need to
replace it. The price climbs from an 11.2 to 12.5 or 18 cfm porportionally
with an 18 cfm being double the cost of an 11.2 cfm. So for your use a cheap
11.2 would last you about 10 years.
Hope this helps
Anton
