Project Neon media file sharing
Daed: I have combined Tennessee Pink marble and Black walnut (using
polyester resin as the adhesive) with no insurmountable problems, so
something as stable as metal or glass should be a breeze. I have found a
sculptor whose work I admire and who combines stone and metals in an
interesting way. Check out this link at:

I have his old website bookmarked, but it comes up dead so this gallery in
Santa Fe is the next best thing. I like his willingness to use stone as
only one of several media without the 'baggage of process' that many of us
lithophiles sometimes carry. Stone lends itself equally to additive as well
as subtractive processes.

I was wondering if anybody has worked with metal or glass inlays in their
sculpture. (gold, silver, babbit, stained glass, and etc.) I have this
turtle that I carved a long time ago that now seems to need some sharp
contrasting segmentation, any ideas?
