Fusible alloy and mixed media sculpture
Having focused on lamination techniques for a while now, I see an obvious
pattern of parallel lines between aluminum and stone layers. In the piece
"Midnight" she has gone the extra step of orienting a stone/metal area at
right angles to the main body, giving an even more complex appearance. Her
laminating technique is obviously very clean and well-executed, as is all of
her work. She's an excellent candidate for the discussion entitled
"Combining Disparate Materials".
