Writing an artist's statement
Hmmm you kind of already did it in a way.
"I have been carving stone for quite some time now, but purely for my own
enjoyment and to create works of beauty to give as gifts to people I care
about. Recently, though, I yielded to the urgings of a local gallery owner
and agreed to let him carry some of my pieces."
I do not think there are any rules......for this......that would be absurd.
