Larvik Symposium
The quarry from which Daryl Petit purchased those stone
offers a biennial symposium. Their site purports an
interest in affording an introduction to those new to hard
rock, and to large hard rock.

Lost to me now is an old internet treasure. A young woman
attended Larvik as an assistant to Karl Prantl and other
male carvers. She was given no stone work, only kitchen
and camp chores. Embittered she made simple freeze frame
vignettes of a little pink plastique figurine named Karl.
At the end Karl always went out with a bang.
