scintered diamond bits for detail work
I've got maybe 4 or 5 diamond bits but I have found them not very useful. What I've found useful are the green silicon carbide mounted stones with a 1/4 inch mandrill. They are inexpensive, come in many shapes, and last a long time, not as long as diamond of course. But for $100 you can get a half dozen or so. Peter's sculpture supply and The Complete Sculptor in NYC have them or you can buy them from Millani in Italy.
