scintered diamond bits for detail work
If budgeting is the issue, then a nice alternative to sintered diamond
bits are silicon carbide grinding bits. The come in many of the same
sizes and shapes as diamond, and typically cost less than $3 each.
Although they won't last as long as diamond bits, they are so cheap you
can just throw them away and replace them as needed. In my experience,
they are plenty hard enough for working marble and have a reasonable
lifetime. Good luck!
