Question about cleaning marble
I recovered a 250 lb+ boulder of Inwood Marble from an excavation in the
Harbor Hill Moraine, on Long Island NY.
I'm NOT interested in getting it immaculately clean, but possibly removing
or reducing some of the stains.
I'm thinking of using something mild, like toothpaste, or baking soda to
clean the surface.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I will not use any powerful acids or other
chemicals, for various reasons.
(I will email a photo of this beauty to anyone who's curious to see it. I
don't have a website on which to post it yet).
