slip form masonry
Has anyone tried making stone-faced concrete blocks? I mean real
stone, not the imitation, incorporating the stone as part of the
architectural unit with the concrete part plastered later.
It is just an idea, I have tried it on a smaller scale but never in
real construction. In theory, by making these standard-sized concrete
blocks the hassle and the labour would decrease, and the level of
predictability would be much higher.
All experiences and opinions welcome, thanx in advance!
