Greetings to all - an introduction
Dear fellow sculptors
Just a quick message to introduce myself and the company...
We are based in Zimbabwe and represent nearly 200 stone sculptors from
across the country, from the young and up and coming to the more
established artists and the early masters of 'Shona/Zimbabwean'
sculpture.
We tour the world every year, with a travelling exhibition. Please
check our website's 'news' page and 'exhibitions'.
We also run workshops at our exhibitions - this is not a commercial
enterprise, we charge minimal fees and give stone. For the learner we
can also provide the tools.
If anyone is ever brave enough to come to Zimbabwe, we have a guest
cottage and we also run workshops here - you can tour around with me at
the same time as sculpting!
We can also ship raw stone; Springstone, Opal and Fruit Serpentine. We
don't work in Soapstone - we find it too soft.
I look forward to having a great relationship from this day on....
With very best regards
Vivienne
