art scam
I got a very similar one. See below. I asked him to send me two
references, including a bank reference, and his address, and would arrange
for packing for shipping after his check cleared, and I haven't heard from
him again.
"I want to purchased the following piece for my parents. i know it is lovely
and will make them very happy when they sees it because the piece are
lovely and will be the center of attraction in this holiday season for
every menmber of the family, and will definately suit my parents apartment
Woman prone $3000
Fire $3000
e issuing payment in bank cheque which will include both the payment for the
piece and as well as the shipping of the piece.The piece is a gift for my
parents and as of the transporting of the piece pick up will be done and
payment will be given to them at the
point of pick-up the shipping company is an air frieght company they will be
picking up the piece and make a special delivery to my parents.I will be
adding an extra $2500 for pick-up of the piece which will be paid to the
shipper for pick-up of the piece.I will be needing your contact address and
telephone number to issue payment to you.
