planes in granite
Do you think the exfoliation thats at Yosemity is similar to the damage
I've seen on fire damaged granite? Fire damage seems to peel off
realitive to the hot spot, and not follow the grain.

I can't really speak to that. However, the spawling I have seen associated
with flame finished granite appears different to me than exfoliation.
