cleaning masonry protection against graffiti
The stuff that The City of New York uses to prevent graffiti works on the
bare exterior and enameled interior metal of subway cars.
When they first got the stuff it was 'explained' in the paper, that you can
prevent paint from sticking by preventing 'wetting'. If the surface can't be
'wetted' then the paint won't adhere.
I'm not sure what kind of definition they're using for 'wetting' but I have
thought about it over the years when I've seen paint peeling and falling off
of my own projects.
