Foraging
I have foraged off the mountain, in the rivers and all around the quarries, there is so much material that no one cares about, why bother taking someone's special stone or walkway. Another good place is the stone industry which dumps tons of material every day. Barter is also good. At least 1 third of my stone I barter for. When I want a nice big piece I buy it. If I lived alone I would probably just live at the base of the mountain and the quarry men themselve would supply me with stone just to see what comes out of them. Stone people love to see their stone used and made into something beautiful.
