How can I mask white spots in pink marble?
Dear Clive, George and others,
I appreciate your good and well described solitions for my problem. And,
Clive, very nice to first study the kind of sculptures I make in order to
'fit' the advice.
However, the surface I have to treat is flat, 40 x 80 cm and grinded with
coarse (80) sandpaper. After reading your responses, I still do not really
see any solution I can use, although the resins (epoxy) come close; I have
to think about it. It is such a large, clean and delicate surface.
Anyhow, Clive's rule (if it looks like you meant it to look that way it is
OK, if it doesn't look as if you chose it to be like that then you've got
problems.) appeals to me because it says a lot about your standards.
Regards,
Michiel
