artists statement
Greetings fellow carvers, I'd like to thank all of you for your comments
on my artist's statement! The comments and observations were very useful
and many have made their way into the revised version. I have to admit
feeling very ambivilent about this statement - I believe that the art
should speak for itself, but as I mentioned, all galleries seem to require
one. So thanks again to all of you, back channel and list -- your help
makes this such a valuable forum for me.
