Hi Gary,

The arbor size can vary a little, as can the bush (inside fitting) diameter.

If the bush is loose, take it out of the blade and lay it on a hard surface.
Give it a tap with a hammer and try it back in the arbor. Tapping stretches the
bush so it fits tightly in the arbor - lay the blade on a flat surface and tap
the bush in gently.

If you don't want the bush to fit tightly, place a packer (such as another bush)
under the arbor so the first bush can sit up on it.

The diamonds on your marble blade have been electroplated. There is not much
chance of injury unless you do something really bad, because the blade vibration
makes it impossible to use if it not mounted correctly, as you found out. I
think blades today are much improved. I have seen more than one scrotal injury
when diamond blades first became popular.

Regards,

Simon
