DIY Plans for various stone machines
Is someone charging for these plans? Do you have a link?
I had a link saved to someone's (I think from this list) fotki site that
had some scans of articles about homemade saws. Unfortunately it
appears that the pictures are no longer there.
I'm currently toying with doing a drag saw similar to this one:
http://www.barrancadiamond.com/lap/eqp_drag.html
The video on the site gives a pretty good idea of how it works.
There's various sources for blades, around $600-$700 for a blade.
I've also thought of doing a wire saw but haven't figured out how to
control the down feed.

Quoted text begins. As a novice, and tinker-er, I have run across some plans (about 50.00) that
tell you how to make some of the more common types of saws, etc.
End of quote.
