bases
Fellow stone carvers,
What is the best way of attaching bases to small sculptures. I am talking about ones that are six inches by six inches by one foot high? I'm attaching a limestone piece to a granite base. I have seen some who epoxy a piece of all thread into the sculpture go though the base then put a nut and washer on sculpture. In effect bolting on a base. Then others use a piece of all thread and use it as a pin and epoxy both the base and sculpture. Appreciate any ideas.
Mike
