How do you polish a marble
An easy way to knock back the shine on the floor would be to go down to the
nearest rental center and rent a random orbit floor sander(around here you
can find the 4 pad models which I would use) and some Scothbrite pads of the
proper grit.
If you can't find the RO sander then the next best thing would be a floor
buffer with a scotchbrite pad and some loose abrasive and water.
Shouldn't take more than 1/2 day rental even for a rather large kitchen.
Good luck.
