standing block stability
Hello Norman,
Have you considered just working the high aspect block on its side in the
horizontal position and just rolling it get to the different sides? Several
years ago I purchased some marble from Dodd Marble in Southern California
and I remember him working on many pieces (in the vertical position) about
the size you are describing (2'x2'x8'). Perhaps he would be willing to help
you with some info.
