Ron Mueck
Sue et al,
As this dinner party has evolved I've found myself siding with Sue. For my
part discussions like this balance up the focus on the actual process of
making sculpture. It's like pressing some special "refresher button" that
helps me clarify my own ideas.
There are a couple of questions that come to mind, Sue mentioned her Top
100, probably too many to put in one posting! How about Top 10?
And eventhough we can't all agree what makes great art how is it that the
curators of major contemporary art museums seem to have a fairly uniform
view of what it is?
