YAY DUST
Quoted text begins.Excellent point !!! How much more humane is it to drag these poor
little critters (kicking and screaming as much as any stone could) from
their homes and families? TSK TSK TSK
End of quote.
humane?
well, the mason marries stone to stone, causing a harmonious
community of the rocky rascals to exist where none did before. who's
to say that stones don't appreciate being dug up or prised apart,
broken, shaped and assembled? that all that drilling and splitting,
sawing and chiselling, grinding and polishing isn't the equivalent of
grooming to a piece of stone? we might like to think that we are the
masters of the material, but we could be its servants, enabling it to
take forms impossible without human agency.
