mineral buildup on memorials
Visited a sugar cane plantation on St.Johns, V.I. within our National Park.
The stone structures were in dire need of repair, but the Park Ranger just
laughed when I asked about it. No funds. I think our monuments in D.C. are
subject to the same budget cuts. We are busy not re-building Iraq.

The memorials look
quite ugly and neglected. Is there something the Park Service (I
assume they are responsible) could do to prevent this?
