Westminster Hammer beams
Thanks for the links Simon. I was hoping to see some stone hammer beams
exposed by you. The dimensions involved at Westminster are impressive for
the time. Timber was the only option. I would love to see some drawings if
there are any in existance. There has to be an example of a stone hammer
beam somewhere in Medieval buildings. A Trifoliated arch is a Trifoliated
arch not a hammer beam.
