[stone]apply lettering to stone
Robin,
You are quite right about litho not doing well on polished surfaces. As
rubber stencil is used for almost everything, its standard practice to dust
off the polish by sandblasting, then paint , then peel off the rubber. This
all works well on the flat surfaces found in a monument shop. (boring) The
stencil, sandblasting and lithochrome may work for you, but there are a lot
of fussy detail problems that come with using these methods.
