Art and Numbers
Whew! And I thought it was so Aunt Sally could have a picture to hang
over the sofa which matches the rug and drapes or, in our case, perhaps
a cherub for the mantle. We need to be careful here or we will end up
full blown into a discussion of G-d{ess} Art as prayer though sure
works for me ... exceedingly well actually :) and in accordence I wish
you all have a pious, prayer filled day. kol tov
Quoted text begins.I believe that the ultimate effort of all serious art, is
to be making things which connect with this I of the
person. This "I," not normally available, is dredged up,
forced to the light, forced into the light of day, by the
work of art."
End of quote.
