meeting sculptors
hi Norman
above all, don't dampen your Curiosity!!
(which is the strongest impetus for both Art and Science!! alas, where
these two currents finally cross over together)
you've had lots of responses from the Stone List that are true enough.
V.T. also extends this into that modern swamp of "no response"
for all our virtual and immediate "so-called" contact mechanisms, we seem
often deficit on the personal side.
for me,
I love visiting studios, and seeing artists' work spaces.
I am much more hesitant to show my own work space YET I enjoy some visits a
great deal - and even sell a poetry book or two! my visitors have given me
some new ideas and possibilities to explore as well.
when I've needed to continue to work, if I say so people seem accomodating
and leave, or make another app't.
so, keep checking people and their spaces out, n!
every now and then you're bound to encounter a vital and even lifelong
friend!
ps come and see me sometime! I'm in the Ottawa valley, Ontario.
cheers,
Oscar
