meeting sculptors
Norm,
Don't be discourage by a few rude artists. There are a lot of accessible
people that would love a visit from an encouraging person.
I think there is a larger then average percentage of self absorbed jerks in
the art community, but for every bad one there are a dozen wonderful
characters to be discovered.
You probably are better off not getting to close to an unresponsive artist
anyway. It's been my experience that they are often very talented, but
tortured and unhappy souls. All too often the two seem to go together.
So, don't take it personally, and follow your heart.
I'm here in the boon docks of western NY, so if you every find your self
passing by Rochester, heading for Buffalo, pleeeeze give me a shout!
