these all sound like Zone Experiences to me, thanks!

maybe I misspoke:  not too many questions, rather too many questions without
initial parameters, ie what ballpark are you playing in?  - otherwise I
could respond to the moon and back, and probably miss Your point :o)

music is important in my carving work, often loud and swinging, African or
jazz..
in writing, I can't have music with words, just too distracting.  classical
cloral music (in another language!!) gets me into the writing zone (Arvo
Part)

and mistakes:  often errors I make become doorways to options, alternatives
I never thought of, especially in carving.
