Respirators and dangerous rocks.......
I use a mask from North (5500-30M) which has 2 air inlets on which you can
fix various types of filters, depending on the type of dust (or even gas)
you are working with. I prefer this one (with a filter for very fine dust)
because it is very solid, the inside can be rinsed with water and the air
outlet is on the lower side, so my glasses do not get foggy. By the way,
somewhere in the last weeks Robin Antar wrote about her home made
combination of respirator and facemask, which could also be useful
information for you.
Regards, Michiel
Can anyone tell me what the best type of respirator for stone dust is?
I heard that soap stone has asbestos in it? Is that true? Is there any
other type of stone to be particularly careful with?
