In Italy they called it Nafta, but it wasn't the same as the Naphtha
in the states, I'm pretty sure it's kerosene. I once tried soaking on
in carburetor cleaner; that got it very clean, but it stank for two
weeks, smelled up my whole shop, so I regretted that.
